Pad Printing

Pad printing allows for vibrant, multi-color designs to be printed directly onto your part. The process uses an offset printing method to transfer your image onto a variety of plastic substrates using a silicone pad.

Hot Stamp Printing

This process utilizes heat and pressure to transfer metallic or colored foil onto surfaces, enhancing the visual appeal of your packaging, labels, and more.

In-Mold Labeling

This technique achieves durable, high-quality graphics on your parts by placing a pre-printed, decorated plastic film into the mold before plastic is injected. This process streamlines production and enhances cost efficiency by eliminating post-molding labeling.

FAQs

Have a question? We’re here to help.

  • What colors can we use in Pad Printing?

Pad printing can use a wide variety of colors, and several can be combined into an image. Each color will be applied separately, so simple designs are better for this process.

  • How does Hot Stamp Printing differ from pad printing?

When a part is hot stamped, a decal is transferred to the surface of the part through the application of heat and pressure. In Pad Printing, ink is applied to the part in the form of the image one color at a time. Hot stamping allows more colors to be utilized and the image to be more complicated.

  • How is In-Mold Labeling different from a label application or Hot Stamp?

For the In-Mold Labeling process, a label is placed in the mold prior to injecting the plastic and the label becomes an integral part of the final piece.

In an adhesive label application, the label has a glue background and is physically pressed onto the molded part after it comes out of the machine, and can usually be removed.

In Hot Stamp, an image is applied to the molded part using heat and pressure, and cannot be removed.
